Due Date

The estimated date given, for the delivery of your baby.  Your due date is calculated by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period. However, an ultrasound in the first trimester can give a more accurate due date estimate.

It should be noted that only 5% of women actually deliver on their given due date (Australian study).
