Hospital Bag Essentials for Mom & Baby

Expectant moms are told to have their hospital bags packed and with them at all times from month seven. For some moms-to-be, packing these bags are both exciting and daunting, as this signals the closeness of the due date.

Our team put together a list of essentials for those bags and a bit of advice from our readers. We also included a section for Dads to help them be better prepared when your are ready to head to the hospital.

Our readers Karina Ali-Khan Mohammed and Amrita Chan recommended separating baby’s outfits and blankets. Place labelled baby outfits in Ziploc bags within your baby bag, this makes it easier for anyone to access. They separated it all into four bags – one for when baby was born, one to leave the hospital, another with extra clothing and the fourth bag had towels and washcloths.
