Mom, heartburn, and possible nosebleeds due to high blood volume pumping through your body can be expected. The muscles in your stomach are relaxing allowing acid to rise, antacids work but in more severe cases the use of medication would be recommended by your doctor. You may also feel shortness of breath as your belly grows, and your gums can swell, good dental hygiene is a must during pregnancy.
Ultrasounds will show an active baby, even though you may still be unable to feel movement. Some mothers feeling tiny movements, this is called ‘fluttering.’
