Pregnancy Week 22

Week 22.

The baby is starting to hear sounds and can faintly listen to things like your breathing, heartbeat, and digestion sounds. With time, the volume will grow along with the increased hearing capacity of the baby. The skin of the baby is now covered with fine hair called lanugo and the skin also has deep wrinkles on it. With further growth, these wrinkles will go away as fat fills the gaps between the wrinkles.

Mom, your belly button may start protruding, but it usually goes back to normal after delivery.  You may begin getting some pre-milk leakage from your breasts but this does not happen with all women.
