Week 23.

The baby’s hearing is growing a lot stronger now and he can hear sounds from outside your body as well as perceive light. The baby is also able to sense movement by now and it can tell when you are moving in any particular manner, like dancing.

Mom, Braxton Hicks contractions may or may not be noticeable at this time.  Pain around the stomach and pelvic areas will intensify as your baby grows. You may find that your feet and hands are getting a bit swollen, and your regular shoes or wedding ring no longer fits.

The increased blood flow also makes your teeth and gums sensitive, sometimes causing some swelling. Be sure to have a dental visit during your pregnancy.
