Pregnancy Week 27
This week brings trimester two to a close.
The eyes which were fused shut up till now are finally open. Your baby can blink and he responds to light when you shine a light directly at your tummy. Your baby also starts having hiccups at this point, you may feel the movement.
Mom, your symptoms will continue including cramps, hemorrhoids, frequent urination, constipation, and backaches. At 27 weeks, twin moms should be extra careful as preterm labor can occur in some cases. Make sure your OB is aware of any unexpected things that occur, like bleeding or repeated contractions.
It might be a good time to get hospital arrangements for delivery in order, start discussing deliver options and a birth plan. The more prepared you are the less stressful it becomes closer to your delivery.
