Pregnancy Week 28
Week 28.
You are now in the third trimester, the home stretch!
The brain of your baby is developing rapidly, and billions of nerve cells are being added to the nervous system. The brain will increase in size by three times, during the last trimester. At this stage, your baby’s senses are fully developed.
Mom, learning about false labour known as Braxton Hicks and signs of real labour. Taking a birth preparation class should be at the top of your list.
As the pregnancy journey continues, you will feel more body aches and pains, taking the stairs will make you breathless and acid reflux will make it difficult to sleep. Your belly is quite big by now, with a height from the top of the uterus to the pubic bone.
Your OB may begin closely monitoring the baby’s growth rate using a fetal growth chart.
