Week 35.
The baby, his internal organs are almost completely developed and so is the overall physique. The focus now is on weight gain. As the time of birth comes closer, the amount of amniotic fluid in the sack, around the baby, starts to reduce. The fluid quantity at this stage is about a quart and this keeps on decreasing in the coming days and weeks ahead.
Mom, you may be experiencing frequent urination, a leaky bladder, pelvic and hip pains, constipation, and Braxton Hicks contractions, these are the most common symptoms at 35 weeks. Your belly is still growing and so is your baby, you both will be gaining weight.
It is important to know the signs of labour and understand the stages of labour. It’s also a good time to discuss pain relief measures and inform your doctor if you would like to be medicated or not.
