Pregnancy Week 36

Week 36.

The weight gain process is going at full speed, the baby gaining about 1 ounce every day. By this time, your baby should be upside down, ready to make its descent and way out of your body. For babies who are not in this position, some exercises can help put them in the right position. However, it should only be done with your OB. Your baby is about as big as a papaya at this time.

Mom, heartburn may have reduced as baby moves down and Braxton Hicks contractions may have increased. Your OB may recommend weekly visits and discuss with you the labour signs to look out for. At this point, women are exhausted and overwhelmed, but they also have this need to everything at your home ready for your baby, this ‘feeling’ is called nesting.

Hang in there just a few more weeks to hold your precious baby.
