Pregnancy Week 38
Week 38.
The baby can now grasp things and the pigment in the eyes has given it colour, it is still not the final colour though, for babies with brown eyes, they will most likely stay brown. If the baby’s eye color is gray or blue, they may either stay the same or turn blue or brown later.
Your baby will be seen a lot deeper into your pelvic area by now, as your baby gets into position for birth.
Mom, you may feel a bit anxious about getting the baby out of your body. Sleeping is uncomfortable and so is your heartburn. You are ready to have your baby in your arms.
Your vaginal discharge will increase, and you will continue to have contractions as you get ready for delivery. During this stage, you should look out for Signs of Labour like nausea, strong contractions, water breaking, and/or thick mucus discharge with blood. Remember, not all women experience labour the same.
