Well, it happens to a lot of mothers, the increased time although normal can be frustrating for a mother. It is important to consult your OB regarding the situation and decide a way forward. 

When a mother passes her due date, she may sometimes become anxious and worried. However, if the baby is monitored closely and all tests are normal, both mom and baby will be fine.

In some cases, if the OB feels that assisted labor can work, they can try different techniques to induce labour or even recommend a C-section, if there are concerns about the health of the mother or baby.
